WFH for a Gig Worker is their car...
The key take away from 1 of Canada's largest and most prestigious law firms is that the BC Government is saying that Gig Workers must be reimbursed for Personal Expenses.
- Expenses: establishing a new compensation standard to recognize personal expenses for workers such as vehicle costs

The legislation went into effect November 30th, 2023 and the Lieutenant Governor will be setting an effective date shortly.
