Antti Kokkinen
Chair Advisory Board

Antti is a veteran Venture Capitalist. Previous roles include co-founder Nokia Venture Partners & co-founder BlueRun Ventures. Antti has invested in dozens of companies and since 2013 Antti has started his own angel investments based in Helsinki Finland. Some highlights of successful exits are the trade sale of Waze to Google for $1 Billion+ and listing Widerthan on the Nasdaq.

Brent Turner
Advisory Board Member

Brent spent 5 years as the CEO of Liberty Tax Service (North America's 2nd largest Tax Filing Company with over 4,000 retail locations.) He is the CEO of Motus Advisors. Mr. Turner also serves as a member of the board for Saint Serivces. He founded Specialty Consumer Services in 2012, which was sold in 2016 to MetaBank. Mr. Turner has served as EVP, Head of Consumer Lending and Tax for Meta, President of e-Commerce and Card Services for EZ Corp, Vice President of Financial Services for Rent A Center, as well as other posts during his employment. Mr. Turner received his BBA in Finance from West Texas A&M University and holds an MBA from Southern Methodist University.

John Townsend

John has over 30 years experience of operating in the telecommunications industry predominantly with Vodafone and Verizon with over 25 years at CFO level. During his 15 years with Verizon he was CFO for Verizon Wireless for 9 years and worked closely with Ronan during his tenure as CEO of Verizon Wireless & President of Verizon Consumer Division. John also served as the CFO of the B2B division and therefore had a unique operational and financial view of one of the world's largest Telecom Operators. John, is a very operational CFO, and worked very closely with Product & Marketing teams to ensure effective commercial positioning and that strategic product launches met customer needs and enabled Verizon to reach its commercial goals. At Vodafone, John was CFO for the European Region and also acted as CFO for a number of international businesses including UK, Australasia and Sweden.

Colman Deegan
Advisory Board Member

Colman is the former CEO of Vodafone Spain and member of the Global Executive Committee. Colman led the turnaround of the operation and oversaw the trade sale to Private Equity for USD $5.3 billion. He has had a storied career at Vodafone occupying global leadership roles as the former CEO of Vodafone Turkey, former CFO of Vodafone Italy and former CFO of Vodafone India (where Vodafone had 300 million wireless subscribers.)

Claire Gillies

Claire is the former President of Bell Canada's Consumer Division. At Bell she ran a USD $6 Billion P&L and oversaw an operation with 10,000 employees. Her 20 year career in progressively senior roales provided Claire with a horizontal vision and strategic executional capability that resulted in Bell's overperformance relative to Canadian peers. Her experience includes bringing new services to the Canadian market including but not limited to split billing, amongst a host of other value added services that were completely new to the Canadian market at the time of launch.

Scotty Vanderwel

Scotty is a seasoned telecom executive with who spent 10 years leading Rogers Communications Inc. corporate strategy. His focus as SVP Corporate Strategy was driving improved customer experiences, driving operational efficiencies, business process change with a core focus on ROI driven outcomes leveraging automation and digitization. He is currently the CEO of PointsBet Canada one of the leading technology driven sportbooks & casino platforms in the newly regulated Ontario market.

Glenn Laverty

Glenn retired as the CEO of Ricoh Canada & VP of Marketing for North America where he led the digital transformation of the product and service portfolio to ensure that Ricoh was best positioned to accomodate trends like the Consumerization of IT, Teleworking (we now call Work From Home), Productivity Solutions Associated With Remote Work. He oversaw a 2,000 person company and was responsible for managing a USD $650m annual P&L.

Armand Toonen

Armand is a former President Of B2B for Altice Dominican Republic, and was formerly Chief Commercial Officer for one of France Telecom (Orange) subsidiaries in the Caribbean and Latin America markets. Armand sits on a number of Boards and is actively partnering with a number of start-ups that have the potential to create global change.
